Episode 2- Samuel Quaye & Peter Bankole

Episode 3- DISRUPTION 101 Compilation

For my digital artifact, I chose to mainly educate and provoke the thoughts of those who come across it. For me, education, engagement, and empathy are my main goals. A podcast allows me to start a conversation and educate the audience to turn their heads to these silent structures that have had a major part in our lives and that of those before us.

In the first episode, I begin to ask myself key questions that I believe are relevant to who I am today. I advise others to do the same. I also share my takeaways and introduce my next two episodes.

In the second episode, I host Peter Bankole, a Nigerian and fellow classmate and we try to analyze our takeaways and their impact from an African standpoint and its effect on our societies today as well as on us as African men.

In the last episode, I invite some fellow disruptors that partook in the course to share their important points and talk about the next steps of disruption for them personally.

GALLERY

This is my gallery section. These are some of the pictures I took on our trip to DC. I wish I could post all of them. All in all my experience and feelings while taking these visuals were very deep and powerful. All the theory is finally visualized and further intensifies my reaction to the horrors and oppression people had to endure through no fault of theirs.

These pictures serve as a visual memory of an experience in DC that I will never forget.

“Rocking the World: Disrupting Stereotypical Notions of Race, Class and Religion” is one of the most meaningful courses I’ve had the privilege of teaching. Helping students use their communication skills to challenge and dismantle systems that oppress the voiceless will be the type of lessons that will well beyond the classroom. Our students continue to inspire and amaze me in the creative work they do"
